  Nice spot to drop your boat in the river. Very popular on the weekends with people looking to get out on the water. There is a quiet little park and a fishing dock. If you fish from the doc make sure and cast out because eight next to the ramp there are snags that will catch your hook (this phenomenon is especially bad at low tide.) There are frequently FWC officers there so it's a pretty safe spot and I've never seen any ruckus breakout. The locals from Gibsonton and surrounding areas are always friendly and willing to help with anyone who needs it. The park is a real gem.
